Parabolic Light Focusing System

Godox's Parabolic Light Focusing System is a revolutionary design that provides professional photographers creative control over how they use their lights on set. Ranging in different sizes, Godox provides four main kits. P90/P120

Godox’s P90 and P120 parabolic softboxes are notable for their relatively deep shape. This makes for a quality of light that is both soft and highly directional, with a much narrower spread.

Quick to set up, and extremely sturdy, the P90 and P120 will appeal to photographers shooting fashion, weddings, portraits, still lifes, and product photography. Particularly those looking to add a harder and more atmospheric edge to their images while retaining the flattering diffused light that only a softbox can produce. The P/90 and P/120 are compatible with any Bowen’s mount head and are available in both heat-resistant and lightweight versions.

 

 

QR-P70/QR-P90/QR-P120

The QR-P70, QR-P90 and QR-P120 are the new and improved versions from the constructible P90 and P120 Softboxes. They still retain the deep parabolic design of their predecessors, which offer soft output and natural catchlights.

 

A new addition in the QR range not seen before is the QR-P70. It's smaller compared to the QR-P90/P90, and is perfect for smaller spaces and product photography.

 

Compared to the Godox P90/P120, the QR series has a quick release system, making it easier and quicker to collapse and store away for your convenience. The Quick Release range features an inner and outer diffuser that can be easily removed if needed. Optional grids are also available in all sizes, the grids for the original P90/ P120 softboxes can still be used for the new quick release range and Godox has released a grid for the QR-P70 as well. The optional grids will give you even more control over your lighting.

 

The Quick Release Range comes with a Bowens mount; however, Profoto and Godox Mount Speed-rings are available. Similar to their older models, the QR series is suitable for all types of work such as fashion photography, weddings photos, portraits, still life and product photography.

 

QR-P60T/ QR-P70T/ QR-P90T/QR-P120T/ QR-P150T

A parabolic softbox diffuses and directs light, producing a flattering, soft yet sharply defined illumination for portrait photography. The shape of the softbox provides a natural wrap-around effect, which is particularly useful for creating dimension in product photography or capturing the essence of the subject’s character in portrait work. The QR-P60T is a softbox with a removable 60-centimetre face that was designed for swift assembly and disassembly. It features outer and inner diffusers, giving you the flexibility to use them individually, together, or not at all, thus offering diverse levels of contrast. This modifier is fully compatible with a wide array of Bowens S mount strobes and continuous lighting sources. You can remove the interior baffle or add an optional grid to fine-tune the lighting effects. It suits on-location shoots, compact studio spaces, live-streaming setups, and videography. The silver reflective interior maximises the output while providing pleasing lighting conditions. This is the smallest modifier from a selection of parabolic softboxes that include options of 70cm, 90cm, 120cm, and 150cm diameters.

 

 

UB-105D

Falling midway between an umbrella and a softbox, the Godox UB-105D creates exceptionally diffused lighting. The real advantage of this piece of kit, though, is that it can be paired with Godox’s 105cm black and silver diffuser cover and used as either a softbox - by shooting directly through the translucent material - or as an umbrella - by instead bouncing light off of it. This makes the UB-105D a supremely versatile two-in-one light modifier; ideal for photographers who regularly shoot on location and want to keep bulk and weight to an absolute minimum.

 

SB-BW / SB-FW

The SB-BW and SB-FW are traditional shallow-dish softboxes, producing a widespread of diffused light. Those looking for a greater degree of control will want to go with the FW, as it features a removable honeycomb grid. ADS-S65 / ADS-85

A pair of excellent lightweight Godox mount softboxes for shooters on the move who don’t wish to compromise on either speed or quality of light. Using an umbrella-style mechanism, the ADS-S65 and ADS-85 are super quick and easy to set up. The main feature of these softboxes is their quick setup. The diffuser is fastened to the frame, which enables the softbox to expand and collapse in just one second. CS-65D/CS-85D Lantern

The Godox Scrim Flag Kit SF4560 (45cm x 60cm) and Godox Scrim Flag Kit SF6090 (60cm x 90cm) are versatile, lightweight and portable lighting control systems that offer you access to finer-tuned light whenever needed. The primary distinction among the three available lenses lies in the angle each lens provides. For example, the lens on the Godox VSA-19K offers a 19° field of view, the Godox VSA-26 accommodates 26°, and the Godox VSA-36K is limited to a 36° angle.

 

FLS8 / FLS10

GM6S Monitor

Snoot

 

The Godox SA-P snoot is a light modifier that is compatible with the brand’s S30 continuous LED unit.
