Featuring the latest addition to Zhiyun's lighting solutions - the Molus series of lights. Zhiyun has released the G60 and X100 chip-on-board (COB) LED lights, which are the first products in this new line. The Molus series complements Zhiyun's existing range of gimbals and pocket lights, allowing users to capture stunning photos and videos with ease.
The G60 and X100 are both very compact and portable, making them the perfect tools for photographers, videographers, and content creators on the go. These lights deliver high-quality lighting for portraits, commercial shoots, still photography, short videos, and interviews. They both have a high colour rendering index (CRI) of ≥95, ensuring that colours are reproduced accurately and vividly. The television light consistency index (TLCI) is also ≥97 for both lights.
The G60 is charged using an adaptive power supply system DC adapter or a USB power-delivery (PD) device. It features a DynaVort Cooling System that uses gyroscope modelling heat sinks and front-oriented control (FOC) fans to keep it cool during use. The G60 can deliver a maximum brightness of 2,376 lux without a reflector and 11,194 lux using the Zhiyun Mini Reflector.
The X100 is slightly larger than the G60 but still very portable, weighing only 13.6 oz. (385g). It has a higher 100W output and can be powered using a grip battery, DC power, or USB Type-C PD device. The X100 can deliver a maximum brightness of 3,881 lux without a reflector and up to 17,317 lux with the Zhiyun Mini Reflector. It also features a DynaVort Cooling System to keep it cool during use.
Both the G60 and X100 are compatible with Bowens-Mount accessories, allowing users to attach a reflector, diffusion dome, mini softbox, and more. They both promise light modifier compatibility, enabling a more comprehensive range of light-shaping for photographers and videographers.
The Zhiyun Molus G60 and X100 ship with a power adapter, Zhiyun Mini Reflector, and Diffusion Dome. If you opt for the "Combo" version, you'll also receive a storage bag, Mini Softbox, Bowens Mount Adapter, tripod, and cable organizer bag.
