What is the difference between the AD300Pro and the AD300ProII?
While both units share the same 300Ws power and compact form factor, the AD300ProII features several significant upgrades. These include the new One-Tap Sync function (for instant pairing with the X3 Trigger), a new Bi-Color LED modeling lamp (adjustable from 2800K to 6000K), and an upgraded color screen for better visibility. The Mark II also features improved group management indicators on the casing itself.
Does the AD300Pro use a Bowens Mount?
Natively, the AD300Pro series uses the smaller Godox Mount. This allows the unit to remain compact when using dedicated modifiers like the AD-S65 or AD-S85 softboxes. However, you can easily use Bowens Mount modifiers (like standard octaboxes or stripboxes) by using the Godox S2 Bracket, which clamps onto the flash body and provides a sturdy Bowens S-mount connection.
Are the batteries compatible between the Mark I and Mark II?
Yes. Both the AD300Pro and the AD300ProII use the same WB300P Lithium Battery. If you are upgrading from the original model to the Mark II, your existing spare batteries and chargers are fully compatible.
Which triggers work with the AD300Pro series?
