12 Month Warranty*Keeping a convenient and compact design like the Ray 60c, amaran presents the Ray 120c RGB LED Monolight as a full-colour point-source LED with higher output. Slim at 2" and lightweight at 0.58 kg, it delivers 120W of power for creators needing extra punch and mobility. Brighter than the 150c and with 85% less body size, it's ideal for tight spaces and on-the-go workflows.
Powered by the OmniColour light engine, the Ray 120c offers flexible power and easy control via FlowTurn knob, NFC, or the app. It features an extended 1800-20,000K CCT+ range with high colour accuracy and full 360° control in HSI and RGB modes. Despite its compact size, it includes a full-size Bowens mount, Ace E-Lock compatibility, and USB-C PD support, plus essential accessories for travel-ready use in studios or outdoor setups.
More Punch, Ultra-Compact Body
The bare light delivers up to 6850 lux at 3.3' and 3200K, but pair it with the separately available Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel if you need some extra punch. Experience 8719 lumens, green-magenta shift, and find true-to-life colours with high CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, TM-30 94/100 ratings. These ratings reflect cleaner whites, true skin tones, and highly accurate colours that stay consistent on camera and to the eye.
360° Full Colour
Amaran's OmniColour engine offers an enhanced colour spectrum with expanded red and blue ranges for a more full and balanced spectrum of light. The Ray 120c has a 2300-10,000K adjustable colour temperature that can be extended to a wider 1800-20,000K range in CCT+ mode. Another benefit is 0-100% stepless brightness control. The light supports 360° of colour control for creating different looks, while the FX mode lets you select from 12 different effects: fireworks, faulty bulb, lightning, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, fire, paparazzi, welding, cop car, and party.
Adaptive Control
Other highlights are a Quick Operation mode for instant adjustments of settings, custom shortcuts for long press and double-click options, as well as High-Speed Photography and Studio modes. Control is simplified with an intuitive menu and a TFT screen for quick onboard operation. A FlowTurn knob gives you tactile feedback when adjusting the lighting settings, but the Ray 120c also provides one-tap pairing to the amaran app thanks to its built-in NFC configuration. Bluetooth app control has a generous 262.5' wireless operating range.
Multiple Power Options
Supporting the amaran Ace E-Lock for optional portable batteries, USB-C PD 3.0, and DC 12V-24V power input methods, the Ray 120c expands and simplifies your power options. With the included power adapter and cable, run the light on AC power or use optional power banks and chargers via USB-C PD 3.0. Achieve cable-free operation for 35 minutes at 100% output using the optional amaran Peak or up to 46 minutes with the optional amaran Peak 75 (at a limited 50% light output).
IP54 Design & Low Fan Noise
IP54 rating ensures dust and splash resistance, a great asset if you're working outside and dealing with wind, light rain, sand, or humidity. Active fan cooling is quiet enough for video work at 28 dBA (maximum output) with the choice of silent or smart fan modes. This is a practical COB LED lighting solution for creators in need of a portable and quiet light without giving up image quality. It sets up fast and is suitable for tight spaces, on the go, and between locations.
Wide Compatibility
The fixture's metal, full-size Bowens mount is fully compatible with the separately available Mini Reflector, Mini Fresnel, and other Bowens modifiers. In addition, a 1/4-20" screw mount allows attachment to optional mounting gear. Along with the light, amaran also includes a 11.8" diametre one-snap setup Octa Dome 30 softbox, along with a convenient Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip for quick mounting to optional light stands or handheld use with optional portable batteries. The accessory features a durable silicone strap for securing your power source.

All deliveries within Australia are facilitated by Australia Post, Startrack or other courier services depending on the method you select during checkout and the dimensions/weight of the package. Generally, we dispatch within 24 hours of receiving your order unless otherwise stated. We have a quick turnaround time on postage and handling. Tracking numbers are issued via our automated e-mail system, however, if you do not receive your tracking number, please message our helpful staff and we'll attempt to provide as much information regarding your order as possible.
Please allow between 2-7 business days for standard deliveries to metro* areas and capital cities. For suburbs outside metro areas please allow an additional 2-5 business days for delivery. *Metro capital cities include: Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart or Darwin.
All products are covered by an Australian 12 month warranty. This can be either a manufacturer's warranty or a Hypop warranty depending on the product's origin. The warranty covers manufacturers faults, defects, parts and labour. This means that any fault that is deemed to be due to manufacturing will be covered by the warranty for any parts and labour required to fix it. In some cases when the cost of repair outweighs that of a replacement, a suitable replacement product may be offered. These products are not covered by our 12 month warranty as these products are susceptible to regular wear-and-tear and can get damaged for a variety of reasons not deemed as a manufacturer's fault. If these products are faulty or DOA please notify us within 7 days for a replacement. PLEASE NOTE: *This excludes Light Bulbs, Cotton Muslin Backdrops, Paper Backdrop Rolls, Batteries, Consumable Products and Travel Carry Bags included with our kits. DEMO STOCK: All demo stock items are sold 'as-is' and come with a standard 12 month warranty.
