How Light Travels
Let’s see what science is behind its magic light results—a geometric graph that defines any point on the curve at an equal distance from a focus and the directrix. Put that on the light system, the curve represents reflector, the axis of symmetry is where the focusing rod is with a light source as a point moving along on it to achieve a range of light qualities.
Light first travels onto the reflector and then bounce outward to hit your subject. The curve reflects rays in certain angles depending on the light position. When the light is placed most inward, scattered rays are stretched to form a focused and narrow beam with great contrast; when at the focus, rays being collimated to output parallel light that keep both strength and smoothness. When light is moved further out, reflected rays tend to diffuse, with some hitting the subject while some spreading out away, so light becomes softer with less contrast.

Godox Parabolic 158 Reflector (59.1")
Ideal for fashion and portraits, the Parabolic 158 Reflector from Godox features a highly reflective silver interior with a 59.1" outer diameter. The parabolic shape offers clean and specular highlights while also providing a broad light source that wraps around your subject.
Godox PF-M Focusing Mount
The PF-M Focusing Mount from Godox is an adjustable and tiltable adapter, which enables you to connect a parabolic reflector with a light stand. Additionally, it connects a parabolic reflector and focusing rod with a compatible strobe adapter mount.
Godox Strobe Adapter (Bowens-Mount)
The Bowens Strobe Adapter from Godox allows you to mount a Bowens-mount strobe to a Parabolic 68, 88, 128, or 158 reflector. It connects to a focusing rod that connects to the PF-M Focusing Mount.
Godox PF-R870 Focusing Rod
This PF-R870 Focusing Rod from Godox is compatible with the Parabolic 128 and 158 reflectors and connects the PF-M focusing mount to a PF-series strobe adapter.
Godox CB35 Carry Bag
The CB35 Carry Bag from Godox measures 37 x 12 x 10.6" and lets you store, protect, and transport your photo and lighting gear.
All deliveries within Australia are facilitated by Australia Post, Startrack or other courier services depending on the method you select during checkout and the dimensions/weight of the package. Generally, we dispatch within 24 hours of receiving your order unless otherwise stated. We have a quick turnaround time on postage and handling. Tracking numbers are issued via our automated e-mail system, however, if you do not receive your tracking number, please message our helpful staff and we'll attempt to provide as much information regarding your order as possible.
Please allow between 2-7 business days for standard deliveries to metro* areas and capital cities. For suburbs outside metro areas please allow an additional 2-5 business days for delivery. *Metro capital cities include: Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart or Darwin.
All products are covered by an Australian 12 month warranty. This can be either a manufacturer's warranty or a Hypop warranty depending on the product's origin. The warranty covers manufacturers faults, defects, parts and labour. This means that any fault that is deemed to be due to manufacturing will be covered by the warranty for any parts and labour required to fix it. In some cases when the cost of repair outweighs that of a replacement, a suitable replacement product may be offered. These products are not covered by our 12 month warranty as these products are susceptible to regular wear-and-tear and can get damaged for a variety of reasons not deemed as a manufacturer's fault. If these products are faulty or DOA please notify us within 7 days for a replacement. PLEASE NOTE: *This excludes Light Bulbs, Cotton Muslin Backdrops, Paper Backdrop Rolls, Batteries, Consumable Products and Travel Carry Bags included with our kits. DEMO STOCK: All demo stock items are sold 'as-is' and come with a standard 12 month warranty.
