12 Month Warranty*The YN860Li build upon the most recent YN660, now providing a built-in Lithium-ion battery capable of 1.5 second full power recycle times, and approximately 700 full power flashes.
With a Guide Number of 60 meters (ISO 100, 200mm) the YN860Li provide slightly less output than the YN660.
Otherwise functionality is very similar, though the YN860Li do also now include a USB port for firmware updates (though no external HV battery port).
The YN860Li are basic Manual only speedlites when used on-camera.
Though their main features / functions are provided by the built-in Remote Manual radio Master and Slave modes.

The YN860Li use yet another new flash body design from YongNuo, and a slightly simplified LCD display layout compared to previous YN660 /YN560 series speedlites.
And the 11.1V, 1800mAh Lithum-ion battery is also already the second speedlite battery variation from YongNuo, after the fairly recent YN968EX-RT Lithium-ion powered flash.
Which is not completely confidence inspiring, though the new design does negate the need for an external battery door (which have not been YongNuo’s strongest point in the past).
So the new battery design may be a worthwhile change.
The YN860Li provide a basic PC Sync Port, and fortunately now also a USB port for firmware updates.
There is no external HV battery port included though.
Being a single firing pin speedlite the YN860Li are universal for use on any camera brand.
Though they provide only manual power levels when used directly on the camera hotshoe (no TTL, HSS, or AF assist light etc).
NOTE – be aware the YN860Li and YN560 series flashes still do not provide any Radio Slave mode compatible with the TTL and HSS enabled YN-622 systems for Canon or Nikon though.
So there is no way to combine a TTL master flash on camera for example, and the possibility of expanding on the system in the future with TTL and HSS enabled flashes is currently very limited.

All products are covered by an Australian 12 month warranty. This can be either a manufacturer's warranty or a Hypop warranty depending on the product's origin. The warranty covers manufacturers faults, defects, parts and labour. This means that any fault that is deemed to be due to manufacturing will be covered by the warranty for any parts and labour required to fix it. In some cases when the cost of repair outweighs that of a replacement, a suitable replacement product may be offered. These products are not covered by our 12 month warranty as these products are susceptible to regular wear-and-tear and can get damaged for a variety of reasons not deemed as a manufacturer's fault. If these products are faulty or DOA please notify us within 7 days for a replacement. PLEASE NOTE: *This excludes Light Bulbs, Cotton Muslin Backdrops, Paper Backdrop Rolls, Batteries, Consumable Products and Travel Carry Bags included with our kits. DEMO STOCK: All demo stock items are sold 'as-is' and come with a standard 12 month warranty.
